Hi, I’m Bonnie, the owner and photographer behind Steelborn Pastoral Company, a company I co-own with my partner William. It’s here that SPC Media was born.

I’ve spent most of my life around animals, horses, and the Australian agricultural industry. From working with performance & working horses, riding trackwork, raising Angus cattle, and managing life on the land, animals have always been at the epicentre of my world.

My passion for photography grew from a desire to always be creative. Most days, you’ll find me behind the canvas doing oil paintings or behind a camera lens, and usually, if not always, with a horse as my subject. Whether it’s a champion show horse, a beloved family dog, a hardworking cow horse, or a treasured companion nearing the twilight of their years, I believe every animal has a story worth remembering.

As an animal owner myself, I understand that the bond we share with our animals is unlike any other. They are our teammates, our teachers, our comfort, and often our greatest mirror of our souls. My goal is to create timeless images that capture their personality, spirit, and the connection you share.

When you book a session with me, you’re working with someone who understands animals first and photography second. Patience, safety, and respect for each animal are at the heart of every session, allowing genuine moments to unfold naturally.

Based in regional New South Wales, I specialise in equine, canine, and livestock photography, creating images that celebrate the animals we love and the lifestyle we’re proud to live.
